I had a fun day in New York. On my way back to the airport I was envisioning all these doomsday scenarios where I would miss my plane and end up stranded, but everything was fine... with 20 minutes to spare. I watched Goemon, the Hannah Montana movie (ummm sorry but Lucas Till is really cute), The Proposal (Ryan Reynolds has cute puppydog eyes!!!), and 17 Again (for the nth time and yes, also a minor crush on Zac Efron) on the plane and slept for the rest of the flight. I re-watched Mulan, The Lion King, and (most of) The Little Mermaid today.

I cannot believe it has been 15 years since I went to see The Lion King with my dad and friend and cried profusely when Mufasa died. (I skipped that scene. I still can't take it. I also couldn't take the scene when they find out Mulan is a woman.)

I really enjoyed Maiko haaaan.

Kyoto-ben is really awesome.

The ending is unclear in terms of relationships, though. I wonder if Shibasaki Kou ends up with him, or it's Koide Saori... who is absolutely adorable as a maiko.

I want the sheet music for this song. I still remember going to see Kikujiro in a specialized theater in Chicago with my parents when I was really young.
Even with my nonexistent piano skills, I think this is something I'd like to try.

I finished my Chinese homework today, at least. I wrote like 4 or 5 times more than I was actually supposed to.
