The blue smoke is what makes electronics run

Don't you know better than to let the blue smoke out? If the smoke gets out of electronics components, they won't run anymore! You can't just shove it back in, either, once it gets out it gets polluted. Remember, it's a pretty show but it'll cost you a component.
I finally got Sam and Max yesterday, but events are conspiring to keep me from playing for the next few days. Fourteen years I've waited for this sequel, real life! Fourteen YEARS! Work and stuff can go suck an egg...whatever that's supposed to mean.

Oh, damn, it's the blue smoke? Here I've been filtering it out and keeping the red. Lesson learned!
Work, pfft. I'm only working two days a week now, and I'm still managing to stay busy. I think it's from that whole "Oh, you're on vacation, aren't you? Can you take care of this for me?" thing. We do not approve.
But! I have not been too busy to play the final installment of Season One, and it was so good. So sweet and delicious. Then I played around on the Telltale website and discovered the latest way in which they have endeared themselves to me. My next goal is to get my brother to read the comic and play the old Lucasarts game so that his induction will be complete. Maybe I can hook his girlfriend while I'm at it. Our numbers swell, comrade.

Yeah, I was really excited when I saw that, and said, "Heck, I should just wait until that's ready and order the whole thing in one swell foop." Then I decided I wasn't waiting until mid-June. Heck, I wasn't even waiting until midNIGHT (Haha, see what I did there? Huh?) Anyway, I'm psyched about the Season One disc, especially since it can be played without activation -- As they said, they really do listen!
I also ordered the sketchbook. Since I lost my own, I feel I must fill the void in my hastily-pencilled life with some professional work. I am going to be sketching again, so hopefully I will be updating in the coming week.

I'm trying to keep from pouncing on that sketchbook (once I start buying things online, the momentum is undeniable, and my saved Amazon cart is ever full), and so far I have come to an agreement with myself. If my brother lives up to his promise to buy me a very late birthday gift in the form of the adorable Max shirt, I'll limit myself to that. If he fails, I'll buy myself the shirt and also the sketchbook. As comfort. Yes. Actually, after forgetting my birthday for four years running, kid might owe me the book, too. Hmm.
(Psst, your tablet misses you and wants you to sketch with it. It tells me these things.)
