The only posts I appear to be making here last few months are quick updates of the months between posting. I just did a meme, so I felt obligated to post something substantial.

Have you ever seen them live? I saw them only once (1994?) in Hengelo (close to Enschede) when my friends (one of them was Norwegian)

- had made them a cake
- were allowed in the dressing room to finish off the champagne
- helped them back from the club to their hotel because they couldn't be trusted to find it themselves, being almost too drunk to walk (the band, not my friends).

Well, I didn't hang out with AB either. My friend from Norway (and his gf) did. The band has a bit, how shall I call it?, 'hyper' and I was just trying to stay out of the way.

Only band I've been backstage as a fan with was/is "Dead Moon". I spent backstage with quite a few bands when I was volunteering in "Atak" (the music center for pop-music in Enschede) but that was on a "professional basis" (ie carting them drinks and food)

Were off to Belle Plagne on the 6 jan for a week. Though may also do another week in late march/early april somewhere.

Btw, we had our (overnight) train cancelled by the travelling agency last week (because someone had forgotten to acquire the required permit from the French authorities, IKYN!) and were rebooked for the 'get in in the morning, get out in the late afternoon' Ski-Thalys.

The latter we tried before 2 years ago and didn't agree with us too well. Well, I guess we don't have a choice now: we have to get on the train in Rotterdam at 6:00 AM in March ;-(
