I've always found the concept of destiny within this show to be interesting. I mean, Merlin discovered Arthur is his destiny, would he still feel the loyalty to Arthur if he didn't know
( ... )
Yes. Stat. Starting with Percival/Gwaine and ending with Lancelot coming back from the dead to tell Arthur what an Idiot he's been. (yes, capital I Idiot.)
So I completely agree with your last paragraph :D So true!!!! We need fic, please, lol.
As for destiny, your thoughts were great to read!!! I do love that Merlin and Arthur's destiny is each other. :) As for Gwen, you made a good point about her lack of "destiny." Maybe it has something to due with Arthurian legend? Didn't Merlin tell Arthur not to marry Gwen in one version? For the show though...it would be great if they would just forget about the heartache from legend and have Gwen and Lancelot together from the beginning - not that I think that will happen. Morgana's visions are certainly interesting, but I agree about them being fluid ;)

That's what I want to know.
Whether or not it's Mordred that does it, I think the show makes it pretty clear that Morgana is going to be a large player in Arthur's downfall.
I'm also really curious about the immortality/slow aging thing too... This is why I need tickets to comic con next year!
