What happened in Mayfield after that news announcement about Westport was made?

Following the announcement, the murderer was said to have moved into Mayfield. Many disappeared in their homes overnight; the television broadcast the names of those suspected of murder on a regular basis.

It was later revealed to be a hoax. You are welcome to peruse the exact data if you so desire.

So, this really is all a game to them. Terrible. This must have all been the doing of that Grady individual I've heard so much about? I haven't seen him myself since I arrived.

That is uncertain. Following the incident, he was punished himself by being droned for a period of time. It is possible this was the action of the drone, Lucy Smith, who publicly reproached him for his actions.

There have been many events.

On occasion, outbreaks of violence have occurred among the drones. Most prominent was the period of time during Election season.
