((This is more or less an excuse for characters who did not go to Westport due to IC reasons or otherwise to know about what it's like.  In addition, it's probably easier to read the descriptions when they're not separated by hundreds of tags.  I will also attempt to read through every thread and attempt to list interesting occurrences such as the ( Read more... )

. . . It is almost certain that the people of the town were involved in violence. It is likely that they were unable to defend themselves.

I see you already have all the data down. Do you have any hypothesis on what happened here?

Overarching First: Westport is a precursor or a parallel town to Mayfield.
Sub-Theory First: The townspeople rebelled and were decimated.
Sub-Theory Second: The townspeople were attacked by an outside cause.
If the above is true, then Sub-Theory Third: The containment of Westport was meant to protect or otherwise isolate those trapped within.

Overarching Second: Westport is a fabrication of those who govern Mayfield as a warning to the residents of Mayfield.

Overarching Third: Westport is the original home of those we know as Officer Grady and Mayor MacCready, among others.

It is possible that more than one of these theories is simultaneously true. It is possible that none of these theories are true. There is little data to support any.
