Friday's ultrasound went well. The left ovary is "normal" though the right ovary is surrounded by a non-identified fluid. It could be normal secretions in the Douglas pouch (cul-de-sac Douglas) trapped by adhesions and maybe not. I'll undergo a biopsy in two weeks to establish what is going on. If the results come back conclusive I'll find out if

Well they did tell you to gain weight :p... I too have been eating constantly today. Instant weight gain = high tea at the Old Parsonage. I feel like a pregnant elephant in Texas. *explodes*

Not, I daresay, that you care for exactitude in medical english, but it's referred to as the Pouch of Douglas rather than the Douglas Pouch. (I love that I can have this conversation without getting the usual "shut up about medicine *bat bat*" I get around here.)
