Friday's ultrasound went well. The left ovary is "normal" though the right ovary is surrounded by a non-identified fluid. It could be normal secretions in the Douglas pouch (cul-de-sac Douglas) trapped by adhesions and maybe not. I'll undergo a biopsy in two weeks to establish what is going on. Keep eating! It's good for you. You'll be fine. I'm sure you will. Not everything can go wrong all the time you know.

Well they did tell you to gain weight :p... I too have been eating constantly today. Instant weight gain = high tea at the Old Parsonage. I feel like a pregnant elephant in Texas. *explodes*

Not, I daresay, that you care for exactitude in medical english, but it's referred to as the Pouch of Douglas rather than the Douglas Pouch. (I love that I can have this conversation without getting the usual "shut up about medicine *bat bat*" I get around here.)

Hope the results are conclusive and go the way they sound like they will. *hugs*
