The combat continues. I found out this morning that I have metastases in my rib, hip, spinal column and femur. I really appreciate it that my doctors have the balls to tell me straight up. At least I know what I have to fight.

I'm home and back on the couch! My most recent hospital stay has come to a positive end. Although I was hospitalised on Tuesday, the medical staff let me out en permission until Wednesday afternoon. Needless to say I was thrilled and Dad took us out to Ladurée for a delicious dinner on the Champs Elysées to celebrate my freedom. Sure beat hospital ( Read more... )

Friday's ultrasound went well. The left ovary is "normal" though the right ovary is surrounded by a non-identified fluid. It could be normal secretions in the Douglas pouch (cul-de-sac Douglas) trapped by adhesions and maybe not. I'll undergo a biopsy in two weeks to establish what is going on.
