So, one of my roommates decided to move out the other day without giving anyone any notice. He e-mailed the landlady Tuesday night after he had already left, and we found out when she e-mailed us yesterday. Found out on Wednesday that my dad's in the hospital with pneumonia. Found out late last night that in addition to the pneumonia, he also has breast cancer. The pneumonia seems to have gotten a bit better since I first saw him and he says he feels fine now so that's good. I still have crap at the old place I need to clear out, but pretty much everything I need to bring with me has been brought. Also, I may or may not be getting a new computer after I get paid this weekend, so yay for that.

My lease runs out on the 29th, and I'm moving into a house with roommates which is only going to cost me $480 a month as opposed to like $650 plus utilities. It's in the same town and is only a few minutes from where my apartment is now. Yay for me!

I have no computer at home at the moment and I have no idea when I'm going to get a new one. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

So, apparently Jarod's been in the hospital since Tuesday suffering from renal failure that was triggered by antibiotics he started taking to fight off some infection. Today is officially my last day on the helpdesk at work. Staring Monday I move over to curative which has NO PHONES, more money, and significantly lowered level of drama. Yay for me!
Yesterday one of the people on my team said he refuses to get flu shots because they're actually the government trying to kill people off to lower the population.
