Spencer happened to be walking through the front hall towards his office when he saw Bob staring outside in a panic.

"Hey Bob... what's going on?"

[always here to help LOL]

*frustrated sigh, points at the giant front doors* Peeves. He seems to think my journal could do with a dunk in the lake.

[[Yay!~~~]]

Spencer sighed.

"I'm not really sure why Peeves still resides here..."

He pulled out his wand and pointed it in the direction of the lake.

"Accio journal."

"He's like a fungus; even the Headmaster can't get rid of him."

There was a wail from the waterside, and Bob's journal hurtled back up the slope and through the doors.

Is everything all right?

sure! ^^ bobthewizard July 26 2010, 07:33:49 UTC
..Yes, thank you. Professor Reid was kind enough to retrieve my journal from Peeves's tender care, so everything's fine now.

I see. I'm glad that everything is okay. Although if it's not too forward to ask, who is Peeves?

You haven't run into Peeves yet? Well, you have been lucky. He's our resident poltergeist: comes with the building. If you've seen a wizened little squirt in obscenely loud dress hovering about and cackling and possibly dropping eggs in your hair, that's him.

Come to think of it, he's been too quiet lately. We were about due for a breakout.

[ Enter a white wolf. Or a white wolf with distinct red markings and a floating, flaming mirror on her back. She tilts her head before writing in the air. ]

Did you get something stolen?

*oh my; now there's something one doesn't see every day. Bob isn't even sure whether this wolf is alive or not; it's definitely quite a powerful being.*

Good afternoon to you. I did, but it's been returned now, so no harm done.

*intrigued more than worried -- she's clearly not a werewolf, yet perfectly conversant in English (though he'll be happy to use letters if, like Tarzan, she doesn't understand the spoken word), she can write in the air, and there's something about her that he feels he should recognize...*

[[He was not pure of heart when alive, and whether he is now depends on what kind of purity one is talking about... XD; I think at this stage he doesn't see the markings, but might grow to later on?]]

That's good to hear.

[ Amaterasu barks happily. She would have loved to catch the thief, but oh well. ]

Those journals are really convenient, aren't they?

[[That sounds good! The more you believe, the more you see~]]

*nods. maybe next time!~*

*hmmm, not acting like an ordinary wolf -- there's certainly a live mind in there, one well versed with human life*

Indeed! Even for such as myself -- there's a hover charm so mine can follow me about. I am Professor Bainbridge, by the way. If it's not too bold, who might you be?
