I just had one of these wonderful sensory memory experiences -

I was rummaging through one of my button drawers, the one devoted to my mom's old saved up buttons, and the moment I laid eyes on one medium size, bright teal, shiny button, I just knew how it tasted.

I hate revising. I've been going through the novel I'm editing, and finding almost nothing to tweak. It's the perfect novel, you'd thing, but that can't be true. I helped my dad clear out his house and carted home a treasure trove of family albums. I've got pics going back way into the 19th century. So cool! I can put faces to me greatgrandparents now, and seeing these women with their grave faces, some of them still in local costume....
