It's been a busy week. Mom's been under the weather so I've spent a lot of time with her. She wasn't sleeping so they adjusted some meds and put her on a different sleeping pill and now she's like a zombie during the day. Which has lead to more adjustments in the hope of getting her to the point that she can sleep more than an hour or two a

But I have to add I'm giggling about the NASCAR thing. Hee!

I find the whole NASCAR thing very scary. Especially when I'm watching the Speed Channel and am thinking slashy thoughts about two of the crew chiefs who host one of the shows. I mean, when one of them is in a wheel chair so you're tempted to look up information about paraplegic sex that's kind of frightening. Plus, you know...the guy's nickname is "Booty". Eep!

And yay on the clean carpets! Always such a lovely feeling. (We desperately need to do that at my mom's. Ye gods, who thought cream-colored carpets would be a good idea?!)
Can't wait to see you at MWC -- think of the money as an investment in your mental health. :)
(And I can't mock you for the NASCAR thing at all. When I was working part-time at the movie theater all those years in the 1990s, the night manager got me completely [although thankfully temporarily] addicted to -- wait for it -- wrestling. :::shudder::: We'd watch the WWE between shows and he'd lecture me on why Goldberg was so much tougher than that pussy, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Sadly I didn't know what slash was back then; really, it's probably a good thing, as wrestlers really aren't the types of guys I want to be picturing naked together. Although Goldberg wasn't all that bad -- shaved head, so none of that skanky ( ... )

Having four cats, one or two of which seems to throw up on a regular basis, it's definitely good to have nice clean carpets.
And you're right. MWC is definitely a mental health cure for me.
Wrestling? At least NASCAR is real. *g* Plus some of the drivers and crew chiefs are kind of hot. At least those who have all their teeth. ;-)
And trust me...I think we've all mentally gone places that required bleach afterward so don't feel too badly.

Oh, but that was the best part -- mocking whatever lunatic soap-opera-style plot of backstabbing and betrayal they'd cooked up each week. It was *insane,* the stuff they'd come up with.
But no, sadly, hotness was not in abundance. And I can't say that I miss it at all -- much nicer thinking about John & Rodney, Ben & RayK, or Sam & Dean.
And you saw that SPN was renewed for S4, yes? Soooo relieved. *g*
