I am unreasonably encouraged to see, on my to-do list for what will be a very busy week, the following items:
1. Finish spaceship plans.
2. Align solar system.
3. Deal with pirates.
This makes it all worthwhile! -
A weekend away
I'm back from a weekend at Balticon, which was completely lovely - hung out with some old friends, some new friends who already feel like old friends, talked story with them all until I was giddy, and even danced a quadrille. When I'm in Arkansas, as I have been the last week or so, I try to spend at day at the library to read back issues of the Arkansas Gazette (and sometimes the Arkansas Democrat, which was the "dry" paper and not as good as the "wet" Gazette) as part of the ongoing research for The Duesy.
