My little old man died in the wee hours... I took him to the emergency vet after he began to suffer what appeared to be a series of violent seizures... I had to put him down.

 O' Brother, my car broke down yesterday while visiting mom. Of course I had to open the next day (today), and there I was, unsure if I would be driving my car home (I didn't), and because there had been so any pranks played that day, of course they all thought I was joking when I told them about my car. I have baked, I have cooked, I have had a delightful "unChristmas," all by my lonesome. The weather was just too crap for me to venture out.
