8 Years Ago, it Was a Blizzard on this Day

O' Brother, my car broke down yesterday while visiting mom. Of course I had to open the next day (today), and there I was, unsure if I would be driving my car home (I didn't), and because there had been so any pranks played that day, of course they all thought I was joking when I told them about my car. Ugh!
We stopped at the place you & Mum had your last picnic together; you would not believe the enormity of the waves that were rolling in, or the greenish-blue of the water... downright breathtaking, and I even got a few truly good pictors in. I also totally flashed an unsuspecting fisherman. Who knew the wind would be so gusty, or that for the first time in an era, I would wear a skirt? Hellooo, my shumshing.
Also, quit laughing at me, I just figured out how to take widescreen pictors with my camera... and how to preview them. I TOLD you the Canon I bought was a monster, with a 2" destruction manual! Ooof.

Considering that I am experiencing one of the worst financial months since I lived in Win-throw-up, I'm still in good spirits. Maybe it's denial. I'll buy that.

I dreamt of you often, the past year... I miss you, almost every day. It is good to see you in dreams, if nowhere else.

Are you still watching over Boo? I think C. is giving up on him. I think she's not aware of who he is, in some ways... She thinks he should move on with the grieving of you & open himself up to new people... How can he do this when he lost so many people, and is treated with so very little value at home? Any way you can help? He is like A., and will reel in this for forever if no one steps in. He was never made to be a broken man.

And now... now this crampy, whiny, in-need-of-caffeine-and-large-lumps-of-chocolate woman is going to get ready for the day.

Clash of the Titans officially opens today-- Holy Awesome Aussie! Even without seeing it, I know that you would love this film!!

I miss you, Brother Mine. Look in on Boo today if you can, please. Love you.

family, nicholas
