Summary: A marriage contract of an arranged marriage is coming to an end. What will happen next?

Staring at the sleeping form of his newly wedded spouse, YooChun could only sigh silently. Never did his spouse say a word to him, just a mere nod and a simple shake as replies to whatever he asked or enquired. For almost 6 months in their marriage, they did nothing together but to sleep on their shared bed with a wide gap between them. One night YooChun woke up just to find himself facing his spouse who was peacefully sleeping next to him. He quietly gazed at the beautiful features the other had and since then he habitually woke up in the middle of endless nights just to have his secret moment without his spouse’s knowing.

YooChun could not blame his spouse for his cold treatments. This wedding they had never was both of their will. He was doing a favour for his dearest family, to repay them for what they had done for him all these years he lived. His spouse was the same, they never were married because of love. But he was now falling for his spouse with the knowledge that the other would never felt the same towards him.

The six months marriage agreement between both of them would end in just a few days and he did not know what he should do. A major part of him wanted to pursue for JunSu’s love, to prove to him that both of them are destined to be together. And yet, a small, tiny part of him just wanted to free JunSu from all the arrangement he had to obey.

As YooChun stared straight-faced at the black-printed paper in his hands, he knew he had to let him go. JunSu was better off with someone else other than him. Someone who would gave nothing but pure love and happiness to him.

He closed his eyes as he tried to prevent his tears from falling.

Not yet, YooChun...not yet...

Signing the paper off with his name on it, he took a last look at his spouse as he softly pressed his lips onto those plump lips for the first time.

“I’ll pray for your happiness, Su. I love you...”

And as those words were whispered, he left without even trying to stop his falling tears.

***
Days passed a tad slower for him and he felt he already lived a hundred years with grief as his companion. YooChun went off back to his own apartment, living his days soullessly ever since he left JunSu on that night. It had been countless of time when he had almost run back to their house, to rip the paper off and to ask for a chance from JunSu. But when he remembered the sad tears JunSu had cried on his sleeps that he stopped himself.

As he was walking lifelessly towards his bedroom for his personal solitude, he heard the door’s bell rang. He turned to walk towards the door, opened it just to find a familiar figure in front of him.

“YooNa? What are you doing here?”

He let the said person to enter his house, a frown following after.

“I heard from ChangMin that you had left JunSu. Seeing you here and like this I guess it is true then.”

He nodded, just a brief one with a solemn smile on his face.

“He was not happy. This was the last thing I could do for him as his husband.”

“It’s a pity then. If I am not going to be married in a week, I’ll surely take you back.”

A teasing smile on YooNa’s face as she handed a red envelope to him. He smiled, a small one on his lips.

“I knew you’re the best girlfriend I ever had.”

“I’m all honoured, just don’t say it in front of ChangMin. He’s starting to get all jealous and insecure ever since he knew you’re divorcing.”

He smiled a little wider but lasted only for a moment.

“Hey, you still have me as your friend, you know...”

YooNa held his hand for moment before kindly wrapped her arms around him, hugging him into comfort.

“I’m here for you...”

All the breakdown he tried to restrain by himself was slowly began to unfold as he let himself to surrender into YooNa’s kind arms. Warm tears were starting to well in his eyes as he himself hugging her back, a small smile on his lips.

“You know...I’ll surely take you back too if-”

BUMP.

His eyes stared front in reflex, just to have them widened in surprise as they caught the sight of a very well-known figure watching him with tears falling greedily down his face.

“Su...”

Just as he was about to get towards JunSu, the other had hurriedly left his house, ignoring all the callings from him.

Standing dumbfounded on his feet, he was then being pushed out by a forceful pair of arms owned by none other than YooNa.

“Stupid! Go after him!”

Waking up from his trance, he hastily went out of the house, thanking YooNa for her help just before running off to chase the love of his life.

Shaking her head, YooNa knew why she had fallen in love with ChangMin and deeply in love that was.

“His motor reflexes are obviously better than that stupid YooChun. He always eats his meal in less than 5 minutes.”

***
Running off with all his might, YooChun was grateful to find JunSu just a few steps in front of him, pacing fast. Just in a motion, he stopped his pace by capturing his wrist and pulled the still crying one into his embrace, locking him instantly.

“Let go of me!”

“No, Su! Listen to me, ok?!”

He thought JunSu really did want to listen to his explanations when he stopped struggling in his arms but no, he was wrong. Instead he was pulled into a fiery kiss which lasted like eternity to him.

“Su...?”

He asked after the kiss, soft and confused at the flushed man in front of him.

“I don’t understand...I thought you-”

“I’m starting to love you, okay?! I’m missing your gaze every time I sleep at night. You thought I was sleeping, aren’t you? Well, I’m not.”

He was taken aback for a moment and he did nothing to answer JunSu who was obviously hurt by his reaction. A sad smile was etched upon JunSu’s lips and a few drops of tears fell down instantly as he took a few steps back from the still figure of YooChun.

“I understand...Both you and YooNa should be back together now since I’m already out of the picture, out of your life, Park YooChun sshi...”

“Su, I...”

Another sad smile broke as JunSu took more steps away from him.

“No, you don’t have to explain...I perfectly understand the situation...I will just sign the paper off and give it to our lawyer soon.”

And still YooChun stood silent on the ground even with the retreating form of JunSu from his sight.

***
JunSu walked blankly into the large office room of his divorce lawyer and handed the contract paper to the handsome man monotonously.

“And I thought both you and YooChun would be my first clients who chose not to divorce after six months of marriage agreement. Even JaeJoong thought the same too.”

JunSu could only glance bleakly at his best friend before resting his head on the couch, crying.

“Save it to yourself and your secretary a.k.a love interest, YunHo Hyung. Don’t bother to say that to me.”

“You have really fallen for YooChun, aren’t you, Su?”

YunHo got nothing as a reply but he already knew the answer as he saw the crystal-clear tears flowing down onto JunSu’s face.

“Why don’t you give the both of you another chance to work this marriage out?”

“I already did, but it turned out that he did not felt the same as me. I went to his apartment a week ago just to watch him and his ex-girlfriend hugging each other. I noticed a ring on her finger, I guessed he had already propose to her.”

JunSu solemnly whispered as the tears kept flowing down.

“Well, maybe you should try again, since apparently, neither you nor he ever did sign the paper.”

JunSu snapped his head back to face the smirking divorce lawyer again.

“Wh-what?”

Smirking wider, YunHo laid the white printed paper in front of JunSu’s puzzled face.

“Both of you should sign your names on the last part of this paper, agreeing to be officially divorced and all, instead both of you had only signed the part where to confirm you are a lawfully wedded couple.”

“Wh-what?”

“It means that both of you and YooChun have not actually divorced yet which also means that you, Kim JunSu are still lawfully wedded to Park YooChun.”

“Really?!”

Somehow the tears were vanished from JunSu almost instantly and YunHo could only smirk wider.

“I’m graduated from Harvard, trust me.”

“So...?”

“So, you should better run to YooChun’s arms right now and take off the ring from that woman, well, if only you want to have another chance to work things out that is.”

“Should I propose to him?”

JunSu enquired innocently, however YunHo just laughed his question off.

“Maybe you should if you are the man in the relationship.”

JunSu blushed before making himself out of the room in a matter of seconds, ignoring the louder laugh YunHo gave.

Well, his destination now?

To YooChun’s warm arms of course, he was his after all.

***
The tuxedo on him brought the memories back when he was first met JunSu on the wedding day. How nervous he was when he wore his wedding tuxedo but as soon as he caught a glimpse of JunSu handsomely walked on the aisle did he knew his choice was not wrong and he never regretted to be married to JunSu.

“How’s the gown?”

He glanced up to be greeted by YooNa’s warm smile and he smiled in return as he looked at the white wedding gown she wore.

“To say the truth you really look beautiful, YooNa.”

“Thanks a lot and you look fine too.”

“Of course, I won’t be Park YooChun if I don’t.”

YooNa stuck her tongue out, pretending to mock his statement before quietly held his hand.

“I’m sorry to bother you but if ChangMin’s best man isn’t lying on his bed with broken leg, I won’t be calling you to ask for a favour.”

He squeezed her hand lightly as he turned to catch a glimpse of a man who was struggling to wear his white tuxedo on.

“Did ChangMin actually agree to this? I mean you’re the one who told me about his jealousy and insecurity whenever I’m around you.”

YooNa just laughed softly as she remembered the cute pout on her future husband’s handsome face as soon as he knew YooChun was the one going to be his best man instead of KyuHyun.

“Don’t worry, I promise him something in return and he seems to be looking forward for it.”

“And what is that?”

YooChun asked curiously but as he noticed the blushing face of YooNa, he already got his answer clear-cut.

That perverted ChangMin, he thought.

“Oh, YooChun?”

He was caught off guard when YooNa gave him a soft smile.

“It’s still not too late for a second chance.”

He smiled back at her and instantly he knew what he should do now.

Well, his destination now?

To grab JunSu into his arms, whispering to him how much he loved him, after the wedding of course or else they had to find another best man which he was sure ChangMin would not be mind about it.

***
The ceremony started an hour later where quietly the hall’s door being opened, revealing the smiling YooNa. The guests were smiling as well, admiring the beautiful bride-to-be. YooChun saw the nervous yet smiling face of ChangMin next to him and he patted the groom-to-be on his shoulder.

“Just gaze at nothing but her eyes throughout the ceremony. Everything will be alright.”

ChangMin took a quick glance at him before smiling wider and composing his shoulder straight and firm. He wanted to be the best man in YooNa’s eyes.

As for YooChun, he could only sighed as the memories of where JunSu walked the aisle towards him flashed through his mind.

He was awake from his trance when he heard the priest began to say his words and questions.

“Do you Shim ChangMin take Im YooNa as your wife, to love and to cherish, to be in poor and rich, in sickness and health, until death does you apart?”

ChangMin gazed intently at YooNa before smiling wider.

“I do, thousands of years I do!”

All the guests cheered at ChangMin’s answer, making him to forget all the nervousness he felt before.

Teary eyed, YooNa could only blushed at ChangMin’s answer.

“And do you Im YooNa take Shim ChangMin as your husband, to love and to cherish, to be in poor and rich, in sickness and health, until death does you apart?”

She smiled and a tear fell onto her face.

“Of course I do!”

“And now I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Without more ado, ChangMin swept YooNa into his arms, kissing her like a passionate husband did.

The guests cheered again, louder this time for the newlyweds while YooChun smiled for his friends’ happiness.

“Hey, YooChun, thanks for everything!”

YooNa walked to him and hugged him, thanking him for his help and all.

“Hey, you’re my friend after all and my best ex-girlfriend! I’m all honoured!”

He hugged her back, calming her own cries of happiness.

“I’ll always pray for your and ChangMin’s happy marriage.”

BUMP.

Just then, the loud cheering quieted down in a sudden when abruptly the hall’s door being opened again, revealing a teary man in front of the entrance, watching straight at the sight in front of him.

And yet again, YooChun gazed front in reflex, his eyes met the person he missed the most.

“Su...?”

Both he and YooNa broke away when this time, JunSu lunged forwards to take him away from her arms.

“This wedding is against the law! He is still my husband!”

“Su...?”

YooChun stared at the fuming yet crying JunSu wide eyed.

Oh no, he has misunderstood things!

“We haven’t divorced yet, we never did sign the paper properly. You’re still my husband.”

“Well, Su...actually...I...”

YooChun looked around to see some people whispering and talking that he was sure about him and JunSu. He saw the newlyweds, where YooNa was giggled softly while ChangMin had an irate look on his face.

Oh no, why must this happened when he was going to be friend with ChangMin that was!

“Su, baby, listen to me, okay?”

Hearing the endearment from YooChun did make JunSu to blush and stop himself from his words. Amused by the quiet self of JunSu, he softly cupped his cheeks. He could hear the anticipation from all the guests in the hall but what he cared anyway.

“I’m not the one who is married to YooNa, he is.”

JunSu glanced at his right and could only look down as he saw the poker face of the tall man next to the smiling YooNa. He was sure that the man was definitely mad at him for ruining his wedding day.

“I’m all yours, JunSu-ya, I can only look at you. You’re my today and future, there’s no one but you.”

Holding JunSu’s nape tenderly with his hand, he pressed his lips affectionately on JunSu’s plump lips.

All the guests watched with dreamy eyes at the romantic display in front of them. While for ChangMin, he could no longer wait for tonight and secretly sharing glances with the blushing YooNa.

“You know, I’ll be glad if you two let me to continue my wedding reception here.”

Both YooChun and JunSu pulled away from the kiss to see a smirking ChangMin with YooNa beside him. They smiled sheepishly before apologizing to the newlyweds and all the guests.

He bowed for the last time before running off from the hall with JunSu’s hand in his. He smiled, a meaningful one as he whispered to JunSu’s ears, softly yet huskily.

“So Su baby, where should we go next?”

And being miserable and depressed for a long 6 month was nothing for Park YooChun when his lovely Park JunSu seductively tugging off his tuxedo suit as soon as they arrived at none other than their shared bed.
