On Saturday we attended Chi & M's wedding in Grass Valley. A great time was had by all. On Friday night, K and I took a beginning dance lesson, where we were supposed to learn the hustle and the cha cha. It's over. I just received word that he died. My sister, mother, aunt, uncle, and grandmother were there, and I wasn't. He was in so much pain, and in that sense I'm glad it's over. I wish I had been there, but I think that feeling is only temporary. I would still feel loss no matter what.(Untitled)
Not much has changed with my grandfather, although he has been briefly responsive on occasion. I've gone over to the hospital every evening since the middle of last week. I want to thank everybody who commented or wrote. I've been affected by the situation, but I keep going on. We're all trying to prepare and help my grandmother ( Read more... )
