On Saturday we attended Chi & M's wedding in Grass Valley. A great time was had by all. I really enjoyed their ceremony, as I furiously scribbled mental notes (lots of great stuff to steal -- kidding!). An added pleasure was meeting some LJ folk in person, including multicolours.
We spent most of our time with a couple we know from PME, but we also socialized with someone I used to sing with in the Sacramento Opera Chorus (and her humorous, professional double-bass playing husband). It was great fun to recall the highs and lows of our time with that group.
We even got to speak with the bride and groom a little at the reception (and at a brunch the next day). I can't wait to see them when they come back from visiting Lord of the Rings sites in NZ. I've already received a few photos from Chi, and I am very, very jealous.
