Sunday I volunteered at the Kohl's Step Up For Kids in the Aon building in Chicago, and while it wasn't quite as much fun as last year (when we were in the stairwell cheering the steppers on) it was still a good time. Only three of us volunteered, but I think that was management's fault as they did nothing to promote it. Next time a volunteer event

I swear, my thing with penguins began as a harmless email handle, but the more and more I think about it, the more creepy those chubby little fuckers seem. They tried to kill Batman. They're thumbing their bisexual beaks at sensible family values. They took over the box office. They're luring unsuspecting bears to the opposite end of the world with delicious frosty Coca Cola. I bet they're even responsible for banishing the Lostarbears to Craphole Island!

Though after seeing one penguin lure the head cleaning lady close enough that she crouched down slightly behind it and started talking to it, and then watching said penguin casually take a nice big crap while never breaking eye contact with said cleaning lady I can kind of see where the deceptively-cute-but-really-quite-evil comes in.
