I've always had trouble with cardigans. They seem like a useful kind of garment, but they haven't liked me. Although, having overcome the "fix pedal" hurdle, the bits promptly fell out again and are now lost in the road somewhere, including the original bolt which at least i managed to retain last time. Stupid thing. I have now resorted to wrapping it in electrical tape...
