My day started with a text from my father letting me know his older brother, Louis, had died. My uncle fought prostate/bone cancer valiantly and died at home. I spent about an hour this morning moving some stuff around into our storage closet only to realize that I need to dejunk further. Things I'm holding onto aren't really that important to me anymore (like a bunch of music that takes up two crates ( Read more... ) -

On the heels of a longer, bigger post
Lisa's mom requested her to sing at her home church of 1st Reformed this morning. Lisa did a wonderful job of singing "No More Night" (you tube it if you want to hear it - David Phelps does it best). The music director, Lyle Kroen, is this burly man that looks like Santa Claus and was dressed in a bright Christmas red shirt. I loved watching him ( Read more... ) -
i just couldn't do it
I just couldn't do it. I couldn't bring myself to get out of my car & go into the fairgrounds for "Pridefest".
Something internally just made me nervous and unable to push myself into going.
I am such a loser. -
