It takes him a few minutes -- he's still healing from his various battle wounds -- but he leans in the doorway once he arrives. He doesn't speak for a long moment, arm draped around his midsection, simply watching Alphonse.
If it had been Zuko, he would've broken down awhile ago. Perhaps that's still coming... Toph is still missing and Junior is still dead. Would he even come back? Albedo claims otherwise.
[Al shifts to make room for her on the bench. It puts them close, and he can feel her warmth. It's calming. It always is. Al leans back against the building and turns his eyes towards her, expression mixed and in pain.]
... not really. [It's very, very soft.]
I just want everything to go back to being... peaceful. [If not entirely happy.]

[Al shifts, looking back over his shoulder. He's wiped the tears away, but he still looks like hell.]
You should be laying down. Come on. [He'll get to his feet and slide an arm around Zuko's back to help him.]

[With that she pockets her PCD and makes her way through the clinic until she's out on the porch. She sees her son right away and moves next to him.]
