Dinah had been having one of her normal, everyday dreams (talking Shakespeare to that actor from Wreathmist in a football stadium) when the edges started to blur. And no matter how much she wanted to stop it, she couldn't.

Dinah was supposed to be practicing with her eskrima. She'd already run through the drill twice, though, and had abandoned it in favor of a practice sword. Had to stay in practice no matter what. The jewelry store heist had been foiled within an hour, which had led to a patrol around New Gotham City Park and Crime Alley, a thwarted mugging near the docks, and a carjacking on the Trigate Bridge that ended up with two guys tied to a support post and Dinah and Helena laughing about how one of the carjackers had tripped over his feet trying to ( Read more... )

Dinah walked through the gate from the Wayne Enterprises runway, and grinned, arms going out as soon as she cleared the door. "Helenaaaa!"

"Dinaaah!" Helena mocked, then laughed and pulled her in for a too-hard hug, then grabbed Dinah's bag. "Missed you, kid. This all you've got?"

Arrived at BWI, and met Jill, Sookie, Claudia, Zayne, K-Mart, Priestley, and Adora. And Mr. Deadpool who was either crazy or possibly a crimefighter and who totally knew about her wanting to be a superhero, omg.
