Cuddles is still sick!

I want to thank all of you for your positive thoughts and words of encouragement for baby Cuddles.  She is still quite ill. The week of antiboitics haven't done much for her, although there has been some change in her bloodwork. The tests relating to her liver are all on the extreme high side. Not sure what is causing it. Today, we had to take her

I'm so sorry Cuddles is still sick. It's very nerve-wracking when they are because they can't tell you what's wrong. And they are soooo smart when it comes to the pills! Kitties, with their little mouths, will eat around one hidden in food and it will just be this little pill with a tiny bit of food under it, lol!

I hope they figure out what's wrong with Cuddles soon and get her feeling better.

So sad to hear she isn't better yet. But a normal/small sized liver sounds good to me. I'm by no means an expert on dog diseases (or medicine in general, for that matter), but I remember when I had mono my liver was in a really bad shape. I guess some infectious diseases can cause this, but it will be perfectly fine when the infection is gone.

It's so sad and frustrating. One day you thing she might be getting better, she seems a bit perkier, actually eats a little something, and the next day she is back to were she was the day before. Taking an emotional toll on me.

Awww, I'm so sorry! It must be hard for both of you. I'm no vet and don't know much about it. I just hope they will figure it out very soon and are able to help her finally.

Thank you so much for the healing and positive vibes. I have no idea how this will turn out or how much longer she can stay this way, but I will try to stay positive. Pup can feel when her mom is stresses out, which in turn stresses her out. A visious cycle!

I really hope they find out what's causing all of this soon. At least knowing what she doesn't have is a first step, right? We'll all be sending you good vibes so Cuddles gets better soon *crosses fingers and sends a lot of love* <3

You are right, knowing a few things she doesn't have is helpful. Hopefully it will come back as this lepto virus, because the next thing to check for is not good. Next test will be looking for a bone or blood cancer, and we all know what that means in the grand sceme of things. *puts fingers in ears and starts to hum so as not to hear any of this*
