It is quite emphatically still February. The temperature is below freezing with a fierce wind that's blowing powdery snow around. Definitely a day to take the car that has the heat still working

The last couple of days have been splendid here. Definite sense of spring in the air. No need for a beret (sad in a way - I now have three, thanks to a fab birthday gift from earthdragoness) & I'm sensing the changes everywhere.
There are crocuses & snowprops & even some daffodils in flower on campus & through hedgerows. My balcony boxes & tubs are doing really well as are the nasturtium seeds I planted at Imbolc. They're going slightly mad, frankly, which begs the question, just what does the Goddess have in store for me this year?
But it's cold at night still, so not out of the woods yet. :)
