Early detection helps a lot. We're all going to do the Race for the Cure walk. Want to come, too?

I'll come!
Best wishes to you and your family. And you are very strong to keep that in and deal with it through NY. <3

Yeah I think once they gave her the okay and she was able to choose new boobs, she was okay with it. Well, less angry. And she gets new boobs. Now she can't be jealous of me anymore :) We've made a lot of jokes and it's helping her through it. The more she laughs, the less she cries :3 My whole family is snarky. it's great!

You let me know if there is anything you need. Seriously Samm, if you need to go sit somewhere, or be distracted, or want me to stand on my head while singing Oh Canada.. I'll do it. (well, I'll try, and probably laugh a lot, then break my neck.. but it would be fun).

I love you, and I know that this is hard.

My mother has both of her breasts removed due to cancer as well.

If you get your strength from your mother, than I know she is a very strong woman that will come out of this even stronger and an even brighter star in this world :)

My mom is tough lady. I know we'll all be okay through this. I'm sorry about your mom. How long ago was it?

23 yrs ago! Good news is that there has been no recurrence of cancer what-so-ever!

Have you guys raised the money for the breast cancer 3 day?

I think we're going to do the one day. My dad used to run that every year but now that he doesn't, we're going to walk it. And my brother is running the 5k.

I'm glad that it got caught very early on and I hope she makes a full recovery, hon. I think you've got guts-and-glory for pulling off the show in the face of this and I bet it's genetic ;)
