So I didn't mean for the Plymouth Rock hens to be a series, but they are now. I've got the third one in progress already. These are 10" x 8", fit a standard ready-made 11" x 14" or 13" x 15" frame, and are a lot of fun to create -- tedious stripes and all.

I created this fellow last weekend at the Art Fair, which went pretty well, especially given that it was my first time out at such an event.  Actually I made three pieces of art on site in those two days, and sold one of them immediately. One of many reasons I like to create things while I'm at events.
