Heard it several times this afternoon as Chelsea's assault on the Premiership title stuttered to a halt. My brother was actually cheering for Arsenal

Why the hell they're testing 7 year olds is beyond me.*blink* Has anyone taught the wee guy how to 'check' he's getting his 9 times table correct by using his fingers? ;)

I was trying to teach him the easy way to do the nine times table by using the ten times table, which he's got down pat. He was giving me the answers to that one before I finished the question. Told him the 11 times table is just using like writing the number he's multiplying by twice too. He looked at me like I'm a genius! Better believe it, kiddo. ;-)

I can't believe they're testing seven year olds either. I mean, I had maths tests and spelling tests at that age but it wasn't such a big thing as this appears to be.
