Mourinho, are you listening?

I learnt a new song today. You sing it to the tune of Winter Wonderland:

Mourinho, are you listening?
Keep our trophy glistening
Cause we'll be back in May,
To take it away,
Walking in a Fergie wonderland!

Heard it several times this afternoon as Chelsea's assault on the Premiership title stuttered to a halt. My brother was actually cheering for Arsenal. Arsenal! Although, at one point he was convinced that Arsenal's style of play was deliberately formulated to give him a heart attack. He also spent ages trying to explain to his fiancée that if Chelsea didn't win today, Manchester United had won the Premier League title. Honest to God, she really didn't grasp that until after the match had finished. She kept saying, 'But there are two more matches yet, don't jump the gun' and Andrew was all with the eye-rolling and 'But they need seven points to win and there are only six available!'. It took the scenes on the telly of Alex Ferguson popping champagne to convince her. Anyway, little brother was a very happy bunny when the ref blew his whistle at the Emirates Stadium. (That will never have the same ring as Highbury.)

Josh has his SATs next week so I was helping him learn his times tables, all the way from his two times table to his 12 times table. He's only seven so it seems incredible that he's doing exams. He can do his times tables if he concentrates but he's very easily distracted.

Just watched Evil!Sam giving Dean a hard couple of days on Supernatural. Love that ep.

And tomorrow is a bank holiday! Four days work this week and then a week off. I call that a result!

PS Just as an aside, toast crumbs in your cleavage are not good. They're scratchy.

football, family
