I do more than portraits, but portraits are pretty much my favorite thing to photograph. Studio, on location, fashion, emotive, whatever, I love doing them. Speaking of studios, that brings me to the two photos I have for you today ( Read more... )

Balance is an important aspect of a well composed photograph. But what happens when you take a portrait that is purposefully unbalanced?
I experimented with this (along with dodging and burning in both color and black and white) in four photographs. Click the cut to see them all!
