Horribly, horribly depressing. Because you know she thinks it but you can't really argue when she puts it like that, and of course it only makes it more horrible coming from Namine, who just... talks about herself in this broken way. No one should have to talk about themselves that way.

And then Riku goes and starts in on it too. XD Even if only in narration... "others"? Not "us", the ones who shouldn't exist?

Overall, gah.

I am, for the record, kind of amused that DiZ is an old man after all and can't stay up late, so Riku gets the graveyard shifts of Roxas-staring. XD

Oh, you know you love it. ♥

*fully agrees on namine. this is why her sora fluffs at namine at every available opportunity in another side. because he remembers her there and she is so sad, needs so many hugs~.*

Even though he has a heart, I think Riku feels more in common with Namine than he does with Kairi or Sora. Especially at this point in the game, when he's...not really Riku anymore. Something that's always struck me about Riku is how willing he is to relegate himself to darkness. At first he's at least sort of proud of not being afraid of it, but later, he clearly hates darkness and puts himself in that category anyway. Poor Riku...

I think DiZ could stay up if he reeeeally wanted to, but he doesn't bother. Even when it comes to silly things like feeling groggy the next morning, he clearly foists off all of this dirty work on other people. I bet he leaves behind empty coffee pots and totally bare toilet paper rolls, too. Let Riku and Namine bother with making more for other people and getting out the new rolls. He's a ( ... )

*laughs* Hello, there.

Well, the idea we're working with is that we're going to make a website for it, and the RP logs will be available in sort of "chapters" -- screenplay, yah -- for each world they visit. It's a long RP, but it's so much fun already, and I think in chapters it wouldn't be too much to ask people to digest. ;)

I'm working on making art for it, and am planning on drawing the pictures used for the layout -- which is one of the reasons the site's taking so long to come up, even though we've been playing Another Side since, I think, March. ♥

So, big project! Maybe August, where I'll be free from school completely. Glad to hear someone's taking an interest! ♥

*SQUEE*

Clearly self-control is a bad, bad thing to have in the first place. *puddle'd*

....there's a loooot of porn in Another Side so far. ♥♥♥♥ Much more where that spontaneous bit came from.

*juuuust keeps scrolling back up to look at it.*

I...I love you. ♥ August is obviously too late to get the site up. *omg*

Asdkf I love Naminé so much. She's so benign and gentle and so HURT and resigned and and and. Waaaah.

And Riku. Rikuuuuu.

(I love the stealthy ninja OT3-hinting line, too. Heeeee.)

(I could have just meant Destiny Islands as a whole. *inno~ce~nt~*)

Namine had a terrible existence, I suspect; I want to write about her and Marluxia at some point. I hadn't noticed, but there's this line in Chain of Memories where Axel calls her his "mascot." It really drives home for me this image of GentlemanlyPsychotic!Marluxia fetching her and "raising" her. (Particularly bad in my mind because my Kairi has met kay_willow's Marluxia and found him charming. That she didn't think of it as being an act or feel like her life was in danger makes me think that Marluxia would be very good at manipulating her, and by extension...)

Riku would like to be Namine's shining knight. In my head, when Sora fell asleep and, therefore, broke his promise, part of Riku just decided to keep it in his stead. Until he woke up, until he remembered her and could keep it himself. But the whole Ansem thing sort of short-circuited that, because Riku can't be anyone's shining knight now. He doesn't even want her to look at him anymore ( ... )

Namine has wonderful characterization but she always drives me crazy, I want to shake her by the shoulders and go "you have plenty of a right to exist! OMG don't say such things. ;-;"

I love how Riku is conflicted/horrified by the way she talks about herself and Roxas. How his guilty conscience projects on her and how Roxas is human and deserves to live-- but she never says it.

And Namine would say, "But I don't exist, not really," and smile at you sadly and possibly offer that, if you really want, she could cling to what existence she has, but there'd be this look in her eyes like, "And every day, it would hurt me, every day I'd feel empty, but I would do it, if it would make you smile."

Especially if you happened to be Sora when you said it~.

Unlike Roxas, becoming part of Kairi really seems to be more than Namine expected for herself. Building off of something kay_willow said that I only half-remember exactly, so if I'm stealing her words, hopefully she'll smack me. XD But Castle Oblivion was, perhaps, a test to Namine's mind -- not that that was its purpose or anything, but more like a side-effect. She gave Sora memories that made her the most important person in his life (and more important than Kairi, actually; more distinctly romantic, which I find interesting -- when Sora realizes they never knew each other and Namine says they were never friends, he actually says, "And we were never...more than that, either ( ... )
