[Well, thanks to his mallynap effects Vash HAD been doing a little people watching and deep thinking. Which turned into a sudden, unexpected nap. He was snoozing soundly for about the past ten minutes when a rumbling noise and loud commotion finally started to peirce into his dream.

He started to stir when he felt something a bit heavy, and wet slap his face.]

[He gets up, hand ready to draw his weapon, obviously something horrible was happening that needed to be stopped.] -IS!?

[Aaaaaaaand then he finally spots Moro. Yup, that's a dead deer. Well, shit. Now what? Well, he can't save the deer and there doesn't seem to be anymore in sight. So maybe he can just side step over here while she's distracted.]

[Well, today's a good day, just walking down the street, heading to the store to get some soda...

[Adell wheels around when he hears thunderous noise approaching. It's a herd of deer running through the middle of the village. What.

...Of course the deer, who are able to talk, are probably shouting something like "It's Moro! Moro has come here to destroy us!" as they run in sheer abject terror.]

And that's when Adell sees the white fur of the giant wolf god rapidly approaching. Very rapidly. And she looks hungry.]

[Adell's eyes widen and he dives out of the way around the corner of a nearby building and keeps moving to make sure he's out of range as Moro tears right by, the ground shaking with each beat of her massive paws.]

[Now that she had found her Fox Rods, Ninetails was scouting her surroundings again. She was just around the village in her human form, getting acquainted with the area, when she heard and felt the rumble beneath her feet. Curious...an earthquake? No, this was unnatural.

When she saw the herd of deer come thundering towards her, Ninetails held her ground before nimbly jumping away, already with her prayer slips held between her fingers. No need to change forms here, she'd give her identity away. Yet this presence...]

[Ninetails watches from the shadows with deep interest as the beastly wolf feeds. My...it was much unlike Amaterasu. For one, it was close to the size she herself was when she was a fox, give or take a few feet, and secondly, it ate much like the imps did on Oni Island. It acted less like a so-called god and more like a crazed animal. Ninetails sneered.]

[Though her feasting is much less savage, it's still not a sight for timid eyes. She calmly breaks open the ribcage, lapping up the organs and swallowing them whole. Such a tiny snack, but she was taking what the forest could afford her to take.

...After consuming it, she carefully sifted through the bones, then began digging a hole into the dirt street. And burying the bones. Her jaw began moving, and a deep grumbling echoed from her chest, but whether or not she was saying anything as she buried her catch wasn't very clear.

After the fact, she seemed quite satisfied with herself, and playfully snapped her jaws at random humans to send them running.]

[Sapphire had just been chilling, for the most part, hanging out on a rooftop with Pilo.

But something that big and noisy is really hard to miss - and, of course, the natural reaction? Head towards the source! She jumps across buildings, her Pokemon flying just above her, drawing near just in tie to see -

[Yeah. See. This thing is a murderous beast.

But she lets the other deer scatter, though she could very easily just kill all of them, and, ignoring human activity, starts collecting up the parts that happened to fly in all directions after she hit the deer, piling them with the rest of the corpse.

She wasn't going to waste a single part. ...Aside from the blood splatter all over the sides of the houses, that was someone else's problem.]

[Now see, Sapphire isn't going to begrudge any hunter their prey, but mewdamn if that blood smell isn't making her nauseous. jeeeez.

Pilo lands on the rooftop, then startles back, having sort of a "oh god where hide D:" moment in which he tries to flatten himself as much as possible. Camouflage doesn't work so well outside of the jungle, bro.]

So that's Moro, then. He's read about her on the journals, and the wolf god is indeed impressive. Having come from a family of deer tenders though, he can't help but lineface a bit. 8|

...Hrm. Someone really should round up the deer that are still running away in fright. He thinks he likes deer better when they're from his own world and can't talk, but he still feels a pang of sympathy for them.

He'll just be quietly slinking off then, as ninja are wont to do.]

[Really, the deer split and return to the forest. Moro looks highly satisfied with herself (after all, more than catching a meal, she managed to destroy human possessions and likely strike fear into them without targeting them!) as she starts to calmly gather the parts that happened to be flung in all directions.]
