Did a giant wolf speed right past his head just to bulldoze a deer into a gush of blood? He takes a step backwards and holds his crucifix nervously. Not in a threatening way, mind you, but in a way that says 'if she tries to bit me in half she'll probably break her teeth on it'.]

He shifts and exhales a long-held puff of cigarette smoke, looking surprised. He felt a little more at ease 'meeting' her in the village instead of the forest. Still, his inner battle strategist is already surmising things. Couldn't really help it, at this point of his life.]

That is, until Moro tears through the place, almost knocking over her table - and one of the deer's hooves does, in fact, land directly in her teacup, splashing hot tea up onto her face and precisely maintained dress.
Hold on a second, Moro. Rachel needs time to process what just happened. And she may have just snapped the handle off of her teacup in quickly growing anger.*

Of course the Lion gives a desperate attempt at chase, but well, he doesn't have her size or raw power. So he skids to a stop and watches as deer parts go splattering everywhere. Thankfully, the old lion is out of range. Unfortunately this means he'll be raiding the butchers shop tonight for dinner. Needless to say, he's sulking a little.]
