[I hope you were enjoying a nice, peaceful day, Luceti. Normally, the natural game keeps deeper in the forest. But, as you know deer are, they started to shift their typical grounds to avoid Moro. Lately, she's been hunting a LOT pretty close to the village, since that's where the deer seem to think they're a little safer. On this day in ( Read more... )

[Jaw.

Dropped.

Did a giant wolf speed right past his head just to bulldoze a deer into a gush of blood? He takes a step backwards and holds his crucifix nervously. Not in a threatening way, mind you, but in a way that says 'if she tries to bit me in half she'll probably break her teeth on it'.]

...

Enjoy your meal?

[Moro glances at Wolfwood, face scrunched into a scowl.

...But she was too content at the moment to growl.]

[Okay, that's nice; so there was blood covering the ground and some really gnarly insides were freaking out everyone. That hardly bothered him as much as her teeth.

He shifts and exhales a long-held puff of cigarette smoke, looking surprised. He felt a little more at ease 'meeting' her in the village instead of the forest. Still, his inner battle strategist is already surmising things. Couldn't really help it, at this point of his life.]

I'll take that as a yes.

[As the scent of blood started to wane from her senses, she could smell gunpowder.

...Well. Uh. She drops her prey, and now there is growling.]

*There is a young-looking vampire sitting out under an umbrella, peacefully sipping her tea.

That is, until Moro tears through the place, almost knocking over her table - and one of the deer's hooves does, in fact, land directly in her teacup, splashing hot tea up onto her face and precisely maintained dress.

Hold on a second, Moro. Rachel needs time to process what just happened. And she may have just snapped the handle off of her teacup in quickly growing anger.*

[Be as angry as you like. What can you do?

...At least, that's pretty much Moro's policy. She is completely unabashed about beginning her meal in front of everyone.]

*Rachel sets the tea cup down on the table, shattered handle and all, and - apparently very calmly - wipes the tea from her face. If the sight of Moro messily chowing down disturbs her, she doesn't show it as she steps forward* Just what do you think you're doing, you miserable little cur?

[Oh wow. You instantly win the award for "The Worst Possible Way to Address Moro".

She isn't even dignifying it with a response. Just a chomp.]

[Well luckily from being in the forest, Luffy is somewhat... "used" to this behavior? Well kind of. He understand it's necessary atleast.

He watched this brilliant display of wolf power via a roof as he usually does for some reason.]

Wow Moro! You can really move!

I just forgot how fast you were that's all!

Usually you don't hunt this close to town. Are all the animals moving closer now?

I suppose they don't think I will charge into town.

[Boy were they wrong.]

It was one of my more enjoyable hunts, to send the humans scattering.

[He had been stalking a deer separate from the herd when she came barreling through, startling his prey and chasing it out into the village with the rest of him.

Of course the Lion gives a desperate attempt at chase, but well, he doesn't have her size or raw power. So he skids to a stop and watches as deer parts go splattering everywhere. Thankfully, the old lion is out of range. Unfortunately this means he'll be raiding the butchers shop tonight for dinner. Needless to say, he's sulking a little.]

[Life's not fair, Scar. The biggest and strongest survive, and it's only insult to injury that Moro is as wise as she is.

Don't mind her, she's quietly gathering the scattered parts into a pile before eating.]

[He's well aware of that thank you very much. Scar watches as She gathers the pieces of her meal, sneering slightly before he turns to slink off to the shadows.]
