I survived the birthday thing. Not happily. I got a lovely card from my mother and a new set of sheets. She also got me another 6 months worth of contact lenses, which she'll bring down when she comes to get the nephews for their summer visit ( Read more... )

She *is* fabulous with a grill. The tri-tip was absolutely superb (there was none left, it was that good!) and the mushrooms were delicious. Coming from somebody who can't really stand mushrooms, this is a miracle! They were soooo delicious. Absolutely yummy straight offa the grill. :-)

Thanks for having me up there this weekend! I had a great time! I'll be up there soon, I'm certain. :-)
