I am glad I checked to see if you'd posted something new. I am really enjoying this. I hope we get to hear about lots and lots of Kal and Lexx's past, that sounds like it would be interesting indeed.

He turned to see Kal settling Lex's double onto a slab of blue ice lined with thick cloth. "What is this place?"

And poor Lexx, to be put on ice...literally! heh. :)

I think when the fic is finished, I'm going to post a timeline, too. :)

Stay tuned.

I like that no matter how suspicious and bitter Lex is, he still follows Kal, who really knows what buttons to push.

Oh, wow. Another great chapter! And your Kal manipulating Lex was just awesome! My only crit is that in this paragraph, you misspelled 'focused:'

"I know. But I had to get back here to make sure he was all right." He glanced down at his charge once more, then focussed on Lex. "Okay, you've made it clear that you don't believe me, and that's fine. But let me tell it anyway. Let me tell it all, and then you can decide what to believe."

Other than that, it rocked! You have a great Lex-voice here, and it's nice to see that our Clark grows up, and with Lex by his side the whole way!! :D

Thank you for posting this story, it's wonderful and I'm enjoying it so much!

Sorry to throw you off. But you'll find that my spelling is generally British English. Focus is focussed/focussing in British English and focused/focusing in American English. Travel works the same way (BE: travelled/travelling, AE: traveled/traveling). I also tend to use centre, manoeuvre, colour, favourite, dreamt, programme, etc. Just the same: That's a sharp eye you've got there! ^_^

Hope you enjoy the rest of the story.
