Oh, wow. Another great chapter! And your Kal manipulating Lex was just awesome! My only crit is that in this paragraph, you misspelled 'focused:'

"I know. But I had to get back here to make sure he was all right." He glanced down at his charge once more, then focussed on Lex. "Okay, you've made it clear that you don't believe me, and that's fine. But let me tell it anyway. Let me tell it all, and then you can decide what to believe."

Other than that, it rocked! You have a great Lex-voice here, and it's nice to see that our Clark grows up, and with Lex by his side the whole way!! :D

Thank you for posting this story, it's wonderful and I'm enjoying it so much!

I'm so glad you're enjoying it. :) Thanks very much for commenting!

Sorry to throw you off. But you'll find that my spelling is generally British English. Focus is focussed/focussing in British English and focused/focusing in American English. Travel works the same way (BE: travelled/travelling, AE: traveled/traveling). I also tend to use centre, manoeuvre, colour, favourite, dreamt, programme, etc. Just the same: That's a sharp eye you've got there! ^_^

Hope you enjoy the rest of the story.

Oh, no! I'm still totally in it, I just feel a bit embarrassed that I went all 'yank' on you there for a minute. I'll just put some more ketchup on my french fries and eat some potato chips and it'll all be good again. . . XD

God, how sad is it that the same a**hole who made us use that term is the one taking freedom away from everyone. . . including the people he's supposed to be representing?! *sigh* Good thing's there slash to escape into. . .

Here, here.

Have you ever heard Evanescence's "Imaginary"? It's kind of my theme song in regards to fantasy vs. reality ('cause fantasy should and will always win). Long live slash-coloured goggles!
