I snapped some pics of Squirrely the other day. I prefer this to having an actual life. Communing with nature is a true joy. Creating a squirrel army is just a bonus. If I continue providing a steady, hearty food supply the squirrels will breed twice a year, with possible litters of up to six. Food supply is crucial to the breeding. I think I made my mother that happiest woman on the planet last night when I was talking to her walking home from the El. She made mention of the Cubs doing so well, which shot me off on a tirade about how annoyed I am with the breeders in my neighborhood and their "enthusiasm" about their little team. I spent my Saturday at my folks. The morning drive down was awesome, because the sun was not beating down relentlessly. So I had the top down and Duran Duran blasting.
