I used to love watching HGTV... six or more years ago. But, the entire channel now is geared toward the one snippet of society I despise more than any other. I paddled in the same boat with this issue. That's exactly why I never watched anything on HGTV or those other clones. And you didn't get a house only to 'grow out of it' and move into a bigger one -- repeat and rinse. You kept the same house. I don't understand why a family needs to have a house so huge. The modern family doesn't even interact with one another (except for Facebook), so they could all be living in a 8' x 8' shack and be fine. Kudos to those poor families down South who have ten kids and live in a slanty shanty.
