I'm working on getting things accomplished today. We had a very productive rehearsal for the upcoming SpaceTime Theater show at Capricon. Yay!

After dinner, I came back and went to work proofreading the eBook version of Harvest Season so we can get it released. I'm about halfway through, because this is requiring closer proofing than I'd hoped ( Read more... )

We all had a good time at Detcon 1. This was through no fault of the hotel, where as nearly as I can tell, they had hired the rejects from Arby's to man the front desk and handle housekeeping ( Read more... )

And here we are, home again. We're earlier than we might have been by the good offices of Angie and Sally and various helpful gofers who got us out the front door instead of the loading dock; later than we might have been due to nasty construction in northeast Indiana.

But it was good to go and good to return home.

If we can just get the last of the bags in the car (most of this is my fault right now -- I had to run and pay the insurance bill for the homeowners' insurance), then we can get on the road.

The concert went well, the SpaceTime show went well, and Amy and I made an appearance on the WGN news.

What's not to like? :)

After weeks of rehearsal, the kindergarten through second grade students at Katie's school put on two performances of Go Fish, an undersea musical. Katie even had a line! And today was the last rehearsal for the SpaceTime Theater show at Capricon. We were minus Steve, because he was stuck in Kalamazoo tending to his bathroom renovation, but other than that, things went well, I think.

Two weeks until show time! :)

And today we had a productive -- if slightly insane -- rehearsal for the SpaceTime Theater show at Capricon.

Next week, no rehearsal as some of us will be off to Confusion.
