The windshield of Gretchen's minivan was a casualty of an errant foul ball at Saturday's softball game. The windshield repair service has been booked and a replacement windshield will be installed tomorrow morning.

Capricon over, I'm back to work today.

The good news is that the drive home was *really* short. :)

Oh, and apparently the Dead Goat filksing ran just over 12 hours from start to end...

I (and the rest of the Capricon committee, along with the Long (Distance) Play concom which is six hours in our future) have officially gone off duty for now, although the Virtual Capricon Dead Goat filk sing is now entering its eighth hour. :)

I've been having fun listening to the music at Capricon / Long (Distance) Play in the Cafe and on the Main Stage. But it's time to head off to bed now and resume tomorrow.

More work on Capricon-related things today, along with a couple of loads of Gretchen's laundry that I processed while she was taking Julie to a playdate with one of her Internet friends who turns out to live not too far away. Much socially distanced playing seems to have occurred.

Lots of convention business today. Had the first Capricon meeting since they announced earlier this week that they planned to go virtual for 2021. We finally were able to announce for Windycon that we'd reached an no-harm-no-foul agreement with the hotel to cancel this year's Windycon.

I am still not nearly back to 100%, but I am largely functional today, save for my voice, which is going to be a longer recovery project, and the continuing need to clear crap out of my lungs. Overall, this makes me happy. :)

In other news, the last meeting for the 2020 Capricon was today, so that's cleaned up and done with.

And we're back from Capricon. We spent a nice evening at home with Midkiffs as guests, which gave us a chance to chat and the kids a chance to get some more play time in.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the music programming! I don't know about all of you, but I had a wonderful time. :)
