I've got someone who's interested in the bed, which is good. He'll come by tomorrow or Saturday and we'll see if it will be leaving with him. :)

I had planned to build a new studio computer over Christmas break, but various parts shortages prevented this. I've concluded that I could probably go ahead and build the computer now, but it is not going to be cheap and I can't get all of the parts that I want anywhere from the look of things.

My co-worker who had been in the hospital died after surgery.

That was not what I had expected.

While Julie's school is now out until next Tuesday, K can go back to high school, as they just changed the COVID protocols to bring them in line with the new CDC recommendations by reducing the quarantine time. And the first shoe has dropped. Julie's school district will be closed for a week starting on Tuesday, because they have run out of healthy staff.

We'll see what the high school district has to say, if anything, soon. Or so I suspect.

It's January 6th, officially the end of the Christmas season, and the trash collectors are coming tomorrow, so it was time for our Christmas tree to come down. It is now out at the curb, along with the garbage and recycling. With any luck, it will leave tomorrow.

There's some cleanup left to do in the living room, but it's progress.

I am engaged in a project at work where I am unraveling someone else's code and knitting it back together in a fashion where it will be much easier to trace through the bits of yarn when I'm done. Unfortunately, it's not trivial in any sense.

But I am making progress.

Slowly. Very slowly.

Julie started back to school yesterday; K headed back to school today. There is a lot of tired going around the house right now. :)

And I made some good progress at work today despite a doctor's appointment. Still lots to do though...
