1. The way Spock tells Kirk that he must get off the bridge. He sounds like he's holding back a lot of worry.

2. The way Spock pulls Kirk into the lift. First, it's amusing how he just grabs Kirk's arm in such a no-nonsense manner. Then Kirk sort of takes over and they end up slamming into the thing and I'm always disappointed that they don't ( Read more... )

This post is so much WIN! \0/ A solid word to everything! When Spock says 'Jim' in this scene I can feel it all the way down to my toes. It just rumbles through you like gravel in a washer.

Also? Shatner acted the shit out of that scene. He the man!

GRAVEL IN A WASHER, I AM STEALING THAT COMPARISON FOR MY OWN. XD

Hell yes. Usually hate overacting, but my god, Shatner is just compelling. He's just unique, period, and I respect that.

Did you see this list? Haters gonna hate! The Shat is #3 of the 50 worst actors. WTF? He's listed higher than David Caruso who isn't even good enough to voice over dog commercials! The world is crazy. I don't get it. Shatner is epic. EPIC!

It was a fantastic post to write first thing in the morning. Hey, some people start the day off right with a balanced breakfast, I start mine with gay love.

I definitely could watch it all day. It's astonishing how many scenes have sexual tension, but dear lord is this one just oozing UST like nobody's business. CLEARLY UNIFORMS OF THE FUTURE CAN CONTROL RAGING HARD ONS.

I love this scene so much. Especially 6.--the way Leonard Nimoy says "Jim" kind of always kills me, but especially in this scene.

I think it's the fact that, oh, I don't know, he chooses to whisper it in a rumbling voice. *melts* You can't tell me that that tone of voice isn't anything else but Spock wanting to show Jim just how alone he's not. Especially in his pants.
