Supernatural - what happened to you?

God, no spoilers on this one, because who really cares about the details? I am hating this season. If there is one more dull, stupid, character-wrecking episode after this one, I'm done. Maybe I'll mainline the whole thing when it's over, hopefully this being the last year (please let it die with some shred of dignity), but I'll definitely be done

Definitely. Man, I should have quit back in season four really, but I just kept watching. Season five wasn't too terrible, it was building back up to some nice stuff. I mean seriously, just look at the epic brother montage and Sam freaking fighting off Lucifer possessing him because of his brother, and then what, this season they're suddenly worse off than they were in season 5? wtf? I got excited for nothing.

Dude, i so much agree with you on this! I'd been huge SPN fan since since season 1 and loved every episode of that for Sam and Dean characters, for development of their characters and their relationship, i liked looking for that in the episodes. Yep, monster of the week that was awesome but i loved SPN for Sam&Dean, Sam/Dean storyline that could be found in every episode. Season 4? In the middle of it i stopped watching SPN but I continued reading about the episodes. After season 4 i stopped doing even that. They flushed down the toilet such a wonderful show and i felt miserable for what they'd done to my fav show. SPN is just like Smallville now - big piece of crap. I'm not interested in Jared's perfect body they show, the can do it EVERY episode every five minutes but i won't start watching SPN again - it's not what attached me to SPN in the first place

I don't know why I kept watching. Possibly because I was enjoying early Dean/Castiel, as I already felt they'd fucked Sam's character up for good. Then I got into season five because it started to repair the brother's relationship and I enjoyed it going from being strangers to being partners again. Now suddenly they're nothing and they're trying to sell Mary Sue Lisa and Ben and it just doesn't work at all. When did Dean become S1 Sam and when did Sam become Dean if he were completely heartless? It's also hard to quit because my sister watches it with me, but she's been getting bored so we made a pact tonight that if next week sucks, we're out because yeah, we can watch better stuff.

I so agree. I stopped watching mid s5 and then started again when s6 began. They should have ended at s5 like Kripke had planned. Now they're just dragging it out and ruining what the show was.

Oh man, Supernatural. This is clearly its last season, I was absolutely certain as soon as the second episode aired. This week's ep was so much better but it was still far from making me actually care about it

Is it bad that I'm actually liking this season so far? I mean, maybe it's off to a slow start for a reason, and they're going to slam us with something crazy later on.

In any case, I guess I just don't have it in me to hate this show, even if the storyline doesn't always make sense or whatever.
