Supernatural - what happened to you?

God, no spoilers on this one, because who really cares about the details? I am hating this season. If there is one more dull, stupid, character-wrecking episode after this one, I'm done. Maybe I'll mainline the whole thing when it's over, hopefully this being the last year (please let it die with some shred of dignity), but I'll definitely be done ( Read more... )

this is a disastuh, spn reaction, wtf, rant

I feel you :/ I've never seen SPN but I know what it's like to watch a show you love go down the tubes. I did that with house and ended up giveing up :/ It's basically the thing that got me writeing fic and now I can't stand it.

*hugs*

Man, I gave up House this season, as a matter of fact. WHY ARE ALL MY SHOWS SUDDENLY SUCKING? I'm seriously not going to get into tv shows anymore. Really all I need is Star Trek anyway, and all other fandoms just distract me from the best one. :D

It kind of started to suck at the middle of s4 and by the end of s5 I was ripping my hair out.

Oh man xD I know the feeling. *is currently very distracted*. I just wish trek had some moar new canon. I feel like I've run out of ways to engage with it. Not a nice feeling.

See, I watched ALL of House a year ago, so I didn't notice the suckage as much that way. But I can't stand Huddy so that pretty much killed it, especially when it makes no sense.

I'm actually not bothered by not having new trek canon. I'm sort of pleased that there's a good year and half-two years left because that means I can't be disappointed for a while. I'm that burned with fandoms, srsly. I'm almost afraid the next movie will suck and Spock will go through pon farr with Uhura and Kirk will be a douche and there won't be much McCoy and Chekov's curls will be flat and DISASTUH. :P At least there's always TOS, so even if they hit me with the worst stuff imaginable, I'll always have that perfect original source material. Unlike my other fandoms where what you see is what you get.

It seems inevitable that all shows just end up crashing and burning. That is why I don't watch TV series all that much as they always break my heart.

I really need to stop going into tv show fandoms. I mean if a tv show I just like dies, that's one thing, but if I've spent time and effort fangirling a show and it goes to crap, then it's just a waste. This is why I love Star Trek so much. :)

I saw all the three eps today, and good grief, that's some major, major suckage, worthy of my wtf face.

I know, right? They're just so boring and just dim shadows of the characters they used to be. It makes me mad because how can the writers go so far from where it began?

I stopped watching religiously around the sixteenth episode of the fifth season. Can't make myself watch the shadow of what my show has become. Same deal with House, and I've fallen out of Merlin too, wtf all my shows ;__; The only ones I know won't let me down is Sherlock and Doctor Who :((((

Dude, same here on Merlin and House. :/ I don't know anything about Doctor Who, but with Sherlock, they could potentially screw that up. I mean, it's canon that Watson marries what, three times? I can't remember. But then, of course, that's just more angst really because Sherlock will pine and realize he needs his John, so..why did I say it could wrong? :D

BTW there is english version of Sherlock Holmes filmed in 1984-1994 (with Jeremy Brett) by Granada Television where Watson has never been married. The series are very canonical - filmed very close to Doyle, actually it's the most canonical SH i've ever seen - characters, stories *ignore last season where Brett was very, very ill*. The only exception from the canon is that Watson did never marry and it worked out perfectly.

T.T

Oh, show. It's like a zombie, airing after it's already died.

I like that analogy. I'm officially adopting it. And I think zombies are really lame.
