Really? This is very sad to me. I guess it's because I come from the SPN fandom, and it's a really big thing over there. Some people like it, some don't. The ones who don't usually have the biggest problem with others reading the higher R and NC-17 ratings or just don't care to listen to audiobook-type things period. I personally love it because you can take fanfic with you on your iPod or MP3 player. I once got motivated enough to finish an athletic course in college because I would listen to podfics as I exercised. Pretty thrilling stuff. :D

I'm already contemplating a K/S podfic community and mulling over names for it. ks_podfics? spork_readers? sporkficreaders? IDEK, lol. I don't mind organizing, I just tend to start things well then leave it to others to do better stuff. I have a spn wincest podfic community that I don't even look at because the members maintain it themselves. *shrugs*

Wow, I have found none in my searches. I did look at the audiofic website for ALL ST fics, and there's a few more for gen and K/B, which have more than K/S. Later on I'm so starting one, a K/S one since I'm biased and people can make their own communities for their own ships or whatnot.

And that is a damn shame, because I would have loved that to pieces! Hell I'd do it myself if I knew I could finish such a long piece. Maybe someone will be compelled to read it and the first thing we can do is set up a request post.

LOL, crusader. Gah, I still have to catch up on everything in my 'toread' bookmark, so finding new fic to update tags with is difficult. A good way to get good fics is to look at the star trek tag on delicious and seeing which stories have a lot of people bookmarking them. I really need to catch up because I can feel all the good fics that are passing me by, lol.

Podfic is the beeeest. There really should be more K/S podfic.

(Never EVER listen to it at work though. Especially if it's porny. I was once was distracted by something happening that I ran into a wall. ::facepalms:: )
