A Good Day
I woke up today and felt like it was going to be a waste. Nothing planned. It turned out to be pretty good. A lot of WoW stuff. Listened to the soundtrack this morning. Then did some reading. I'm currently reading Arthas: Rise of the Lich King. It's pretty good, I'm enjoying it. I've already read The Last Guardian and Illidan this year. ( Read more... ) -
Gutted
That's exactly how I feel. I've always known what the word meant but now having known the physical sensation that personifies that word heightens the feeling so much I can barely stand it. LJ Anniversary
I can't believe I started this thing 14 years ago! I've not used it much for several years but it still holds a special place in me. Maybe one day I'll get back to posting more. -
Music
Seeing all of the posts and articles about Bowie, and now Prince, has made me think a lot about music today. I don't really think about it much but it's always there. Lifting progress
I've been wishing lately I had been keeping track of stats the past couple of years while I've been lifting. Originally I said I didn't care about it and tracking those numbers was kind of meaningless. I figured I'd know if I was getting better if I was getting stronger. As usual... I changed my mind. Neighbors
I'm not sure why I feel so compelled to record this but the lesbian couple in my complex moved out about a week ago. It got me to thinking how many of the folks who were there when I originally moved in are gone now. There's 16 units and half of them have different people. 2 or 3 have seen 3 or more tenants come and go in the last 5 years. I ( Read more... ) -

Best Friends
Tomorrow is my 1 year "Friendiversary" with the best friend I've made since moving down here. It didn't take long for us to hit it off and be a regular part of each others lives. I've been restless lately. Feeling bored at times and I haven't been one to feel bored in quite some time. There's also this -- something -- surrounding me.
