Had a wonderful long weekend with bliss_. We went to Fan Expo, aka Toronto Comic-Con. Much fun and fangirl geekiness was had. The con has gotten bigger and better in the last few years, and there was a very tempting array of merch to spend our money on.

I have become quite a fan of Tom since seeing a recent interview in which he was wickedly charming. I am glad that wasn't an act!! Glad you had such a great time!!

If it's an act, he deserves an Oscar! Actually, during the panel they asked what it was like playing someone (Draco) so different from himself, and he said that this was all a big act and he was actually a total jerk. Hee. He really is so charming and adorable. I could have listened to him talk all day!

Bliss and I were cringing when someone asked the fanfic question, but he handled it with grace. He said it's a compliment even if he doesn't quite get it. I think he understands it as much as a Muggle/civilian can. Oh, and at the end a little girl asked for a hug and of course he jumped down from the platform and gave her one and it was SO CUTE, I CAN'T EVEN. Love, love, love him.

Aw, Tom sounds like a delight indeed :) But GAH to the fanfic question. WHEN WILL THESE PEOPLE GET THAT SILENCE IS THE #1 RULE OF FANDOM. There was an SGA con the other weekend and somebody asked the question there, too :| Like Tom, the guys are used to it by now and also deflected charmingly, but they shouldn't have to :((( ANYWAY, good show, Master Felton! I hope that he (and the rest of the kids, obviously) go on to do more stuff that we can enjoy :)

And awwwww, yay for finding a fellow BoB fan :D If you squint, he kinda looks like JDoh.

Too bad about Trammell. I certainly get him wanting to stay home, but yeah, just a wee bit of foresight could have prevented some fan disappointment. People travel and spend money and look forward to these things for weeks! :|

I know, why people insist on asking about fic is BEYOND ME. FIRST RULE OF FIGHT CLUB FANDOM. At least nowadays the actors are good about it. Tom was so lovely about it all.

Hell, for months! Yeah, that's why it rubs me the wrong way. He shouldn't have committed if he was having babies right around the same time. Contrast that to Michael Shanks -- I assume you know who he is since he's from SGA -- and his wife Lexa Doig, who were late because of the hurricane and busted ass to get there so they didn't disappoint anyone. And, sure, so they could get paid, but still!

Yes, one day we'll have to return to CC. It's just that Broadway gives us SO MUCH.
