1. Swine flu is being blown a tad out of proportion, Y/N? I mean, obviously all the proper preventative precautions should be taken, but the media seems to be whipping this up into hysteria. It reminds me of the SARS thing in Toronto. The press acted like the sky was falling. It wasn't ( Read more... )

Swine flu is being blown a tad out of proportion, Y/N?

Argh! And I am totally a sucker for these things. I mean, I know that the hysterical news media is just making it worse, but I can't help but fall for it. I am already having anxiety attacks about going to New York next week. Help!

Can I email your receipt?

Hahahahahahah. Ohhhhhh, Apple. Just when I think they've gone as far as they can go - they just outdo themselves.

Sure, maybe kill him off by the end of the season

I agree with this. I don't know why they bothered creating a new Winchester just to kill him posthaste. It seemed like a waste of potential storylines. Although, I dunno, it might have also been a bit lame to suddenly add a new, younger brother to the story. I feel like maybe I would have been annoyed in the same way Connor annoyed me on Angel.

I predict a very unpleasant end for C. Thomas Howell, Y/Y?Well, shit, I sure hope so! He's not even a character I love to hate, he's just a character I hate. I do like that they've used him to actually show sexual ( ... )

Don't worry about going to NYC! You'll be fine. Just take the precautions you would to avoid any flu: wash your hands a lot, etc.

I feel like maybe I would have been annoyed in the same way Connor annoyed me on Angel.

See I loved Connor. LOVED. So I'm okay with new, younger heroes. Heh.

Howell is a bit of a scapegoat. He's a total ass, but yeah, I'm sure he's not the only one in the LAPD!

Right? It's not a good thing, but the vast majority of people will only get a bit sick and then be fine.

Oh, how modern and cool! Except it's actually just inefficient and a pain in the ass.

HA, THIS. I've always been a fan of how pretty all the Apple products are, but sometimes they're just ridiculously useless and WAY overpriced. Bleh. :|

As someone who's been in the Zef bandwagon for going on three years now, all the love tickles me. Love it. :)

Why the hell Me and Orson Welles hasn't gotten distribution yet is beyond me, since it's a delightful, crowd-pleaser of a movie.

It's a travesty, let me tell you. I would give anything to see this movie no please.

Apple is SO overpriced. It's ridiculous. I'll stick to my PC, thanks. I've had way less problems with my HP.

bliss_ and I saw Orson Welles at the Toronto Film Festival, and it was so good! Zac was awesome, and the guy playing Welles was terrific. It was such an enjoyable movie. Hello, Hollywood? Anyone there?

I'm waiting for my "I survived swine flu 2009" shirt..

680 news was reporting one day that no cases and then suddenly three..I know it's true but it just feels odd to me for some reason. One day they are going we're all ready..you know just in case..and then next minute YES we have some cases..I don't know..

I believe the cases were from a couple of weeks ago and they're just confirming now that they were swine flu. But the people are all recovered and fine.

HA. I bought a Shuffle at the Apple store yesterday and actually thought it was cool they wanted to email my receipt. LOL. It was in my inbox when I got home and probably safer for me since I tend to lose all receipts immediately.

My big beef with the store is that I was in there (with a fussy toddler) like 15 minutes before anyone asked if I needed help to buy the Shuffle. I can't figure out their system of getting waited on at all. IT's like a secret system that I'm not cool enough to qualify for. THey all have color coded shirts, but none of the blue people were ever available. Weird.

It's all very complicated! It was such a pain to just buy something -- it was such a process.
