Summary: Byunghee is sick, and in love. What will Seungho do about it?
"Fuck this" Byunghee utters feeling miserable, as he grabs another piece of tissue to blow his nose on.
His throat burns, and his nose feels itchy, as the snot keeps dripping from the edge of his nose. He wants to cry at the agony he feels, but he knows that he's just overreacting, after all, he's the one who keeps telling Seungho to suck it up whenever the older man's sick in bed. So Byunghee figures he should be doing the same.
But his body feels too heavy, and his head is throbbing painfully, he wonders if Seungho also had to go through this. He inwardly promises himself, to be nicer to their leader whenever the older man is actually sick, and not faking it, so that he could avoid chores.
He smiles wistfully at the memory of Seungho clinging to his blanket, refusing to leave the warmth of his bed as he whined about December being too cold this year. And his heart raced, while butterflies fluttered around in his stomach making him feel slightly queasy. He absolutely hates this feeling more, his feelings of unrequited love for MBLAQ's leader. As the 2nd oldest, he should be more responsible, and less foolish. How could he fall in love, while the rest were working hard on their new single?
He gazes at the clock once more, the green numbers glowing in the darkness of his room. Its 5 minutes to 6 a.m. and Byunghee knows he should be getting ready to wake up. He can't though. His wooly blanket feels too warm, and too soft for him to let go, and there's also the fact that every single time he tries to pull it off, the cold breeze surrounding his room makes him re-think his decision.
He's almost glad that he's rooming alone this time, but the loneliness he feels proves him wrong. He misses Sanghyun, even if the other prefers Changsun's company more than his.
He wishes he was in his mother's arms, because her hugs were always comforting, her embraces warm and reassuring. Byunghee realizes he misses his family a lot nowadays, because he barely spends any of the usual holidays with them anymore. He misses Sanghyun even more, because even though Sanghyun was shy, and a bit quiet, his company was always welcomed with Byunghee, especially since they clicked really well during the beginning.
He feels stray tears slips past his eyelids, and almost chokes on a sob. He hates being sick already, it's making him more emotional than usual -due to the fact that he lacks the energy to compose himself. He wishes Sanghyun was here, so he could ask the younger to wake the others up, so he could prepare some breakfast before they had to leave. But he knows why the younger is currently Seungho's roommate, even though he was Mir's roommate for the past 3 months, its because Seungho is hard to wake up, and Sanghyun is a light sleeper, so he could help Byunghee wake Seungho up.
Byunghee turns, keeping his face away from the dark door, because he knows, it'll only remind him of the many doors he's closed in his life, doors he should've kept open.
And he bites his lower lip harshly, but tears still stroll across his cheeks, his nose running, as his right hand struggles to find two pieces of tissue, one to wipe away his warm tears, and the other to blow his nose. He skin feels cold, and his head still hurts, his throat feels even more scratchy, as he tries to swallow some of his saliva, to keep his mouth from feeling dry, its useless.
He decides then to push himself up, ignoring how his body shivers at the cold, and how its trying to convince his stubborn mind to lie down. He shivers when his mind thinks of Seungho and his infectious smile, and the butterflies flutter once again. 'It hurts' he thinks bitterly.
He doesn't want this, whatever this was. He wants to be confident, healthy Byunghee, who doesn't give a damn if he got rejected or not. He misses Jooyeon's friendship in these kinds of situations, they used to always have each others back, even if they could've had each others hearts. Jooyeon loved him too much to lose him to scandals, and a love story that would crack and fade away. Sometimes he was glad for her choice, but the loneliness that gnawed his heart during these times, made hims wish she hadn't.
With Jooyeon, they could've worked out. But with Seungho, Byunghee thinks there's even less than 1% of a chance that they would work out. He frowns when he feels dizzy, and forces his feet on the cold wooden floor. He ignores how he shivers, and how his knees tremble enough for him to almost fall down.
He fights with his body about letting the blanket go, and wins, but wonders if really is the victor, when he keeps shivering. And suddenly, he coughs out loud, and painfully. And he silently regrets allowing Mir to let him stay out in the rain without an umbrella during their cool weather.
His elegant hands feel too cold, and he tries to warm them up by blowing warm air on them. The effect isn't much, but at least he's feeling a bit warmer. He forces his feet forward, towards the closed door, and wonders why he couldn't just sleep in for today.
He passes by the mirror, before reaching his door, and hitting the light switch on. And all he can see is a pale figure, and dark eyes reflected on the sleek mirror. When the lights flicker on, his eyes hurt for a while, but they soon adjust to the brightness in his room. He looks at the mirror again, and notices, that he looks awful, eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep, and a bit reddish and glassy from his earlier crying, his auburn hair sticking out on all ends, his cheeks flushed, but everything else looked paler than usual, and Byunghee wondered if he had finally become a ghost. He straightens his hair, by trying to flatten some of the strands.
He shakes his head, ignoring how the action only increases the painful throbs inside his forehead. He closes his eyes for a long moment, and lets out a deep breath, and tries to calm himself, while forcing the butterflies away. But his heart skips a beat, when it realizes why Byunghee was trying to force the butterflies away.
He blushes, feeling embarrassed at the fact that he was acting like a girl in love, and slightly pouted.
He twisted the door knob open, and decided to head into Seungho and Sanghyun's room first. He noted that his room was stuffier than the hallway, which held fresher air compared to the one in his room.
But before he could open the door, he felt weary all of a sudden, and decided to lean against the door, and noticed a light from the bathroom door. He frowned, as he thought curious 'who could be awake during this time?' and was surprised to find Seungho stepping out from the bathroom, looking slightly sleepy with the ruffled hair, and panda-like eyes, but his eyes were wide open, which meant he had been awake for a while.
He realized, that Seungho looked troubled, and wanted to ask why the older was awake, but realized that he couldn't use his voice, because his throat was dry, and tried again. He voice sounded tired, scratchy, and rough, unlike its usual softness as he uttered "Seungho? Why are you awake at this time?"
He saw the brown eyes widen even further, as Seungho replied calmly "I think I should be asking you that Byunghee, no offense, you look terrible, plus you sound like shit, if shit could even make a sound that is" a slight teasing grin on his pouty lips. And Byunghee frowns, even though his lips are already forming a pout "That's not fair, after all the effort I made to get out of bed to wake your sorry ass up, that's all you can say? Seungho-hyung you might be my best friend, but you fail as a hyung".
Seungho's eyes crinkle, before he smiles brightly at Byunghee, deep chuckles leaving his lips, as his laughter filled the empty hallways. "Well I'm sorry dongsaeng, but I, didn't force you to get out of bed, now go back to your room" and when he notices how Byunghee's pretty eyes widen, worry filling the younger man's face. Seungho reassures the younger with a smile.
"I'll wake them up pretty-boy, you look too sick to be even moving about" he utters seriously, a frown marring his handsome features. Byunghee sticks his tongue out at the nickname, but inwardly, his heart races at how the nickname was uttered with fondness, as the butterflies begin to flutter again.
Seungho walks over to Byunghee, and wraps his right arm around Byunghee's waist, while moving the younger man's left arm, around his shoulder's and neck. Seungho steadies Byunghee, who feels too cold for his liking, and pulls Byunghee even tighter against him.
Seungho misses out on the pretty pink blush that stains Byunghee's cheeks, but not on how the painful coughs begin to bother him, after they suddenly begin.

He notes that Byunghee feels too hot in certain areas, and wonders why Byunghee was so dedicated to taking care of others rather than himself. He remembers how Byunghee used to always tell him to get over his cold, but would always be the first one to feed him soup, feed him medicine, and check his temperature. It would be rare that Byunghee was never there for Seungho when the older would be sick, and during those times, Sanghyun made sure to take care of him. Even though Sanghyun was terrible during the beginning, he was better that the alternative.
Seungho shuddered at the thought of either Mir, or Changsun taking care of him. He likes the feel of Byunghee presses up against him, and wishes he could keep the boy next to him forever, but knows its impossible. Because what were the chances that Byunghee were to return the feelings Seungho held for him.
They were the reason why he had been awake since 4 a.m. But honestly, they were too troublesome for Seungho, and he found it harder to contain the feelings of suppressed love within himself. He kept smiling whenever Byunghee was in the room, and he only noticed it because Sanghyun pointed out that he had been smiling a lot nowadays.
He also found it hard not to get jealous at Byunghee's skin-ship with the rest of the members, especially with Changsun, since the younger loved to touch in general. He wished at times that he could be touchy like Changsun was with Byunghee and everyone else, because then it wouldn't be awkward whenever Seungho hugged Byunghee longer than usual, and touched him more than what was ordinary.
He frowned, he had really wanted to claim Byunghee's lips, when he noticed the younger, after he had exited the bathroom. Honestly Seungho thought Byunghee was almost doing it on purpose, or that he had been dreaming, but Byunghee sounded too sick for him to be another one of Seungho's imaginations. But the lead vocalist had looked quite attractive then, looking flushed, hair messy, lips parted, honestly the thoughts that had been running through Seungho's mind were anything but innocent.
He was only glad that he could compose himself, honestly just the image of Byunghee crying out for him, drove Seungho's mind wild, and made him extremely horny, he was only glad that he was a master of control, he could always keep his emotions in check, a thing he had in common with Byunghee.
He helped Byunghee, by letting the other to lean on him. When they reached Byunghee's room, Seungho was reluctant to let go, and decided to help Byunghee up to his bed. He also wondered why Byunghee wanted to wake them up, last he remembered they had nothing for today morning. He decides to mention that to Byunghee after they reach the vocalist's bed.
Seungho is very reluctant to remove his arm from Byunghee's waist, and when he does, he makes sure to memorize the feel of Byunghee's waist, and to remove his hand slowly, before lowering Byunghee on the bed slowly.
It's only when Byunghee whimpers that Seungho begins to lose control of his emotions. He makes sure that Byunghee's back is flat against the bed, before he straddles the younger.
He notes surprise in the younger man's eyes, before he leans down to kiss Byunghee's lips which part slowly, as he moans softly. Byunghee then attempts to push him lightly, worry flashing in his eyes as he murmurs hoarsely "I'm sick, you shouldn't be kissing me right now".
Seungho's fear is washed away when he realizes that Byunghee doesn't mind. He grins mischievously pressing onto Byunghee and whispers seductively "I don't care, as long as I can kiss you~" He notes Byunghee's blush, and smiles sweetly, before kissing Byunghee again, more softly, while letting his tongue trace Byunghee's lips. He tells Byunghee, feeling slightly shy "I know this isn't the right time, but honestly I just wanted you to know how much I love you, and have been craving to kiss you for months now".
He is almost scared that has said something wrong, when he see Byunghee's pretty eyes sparkle with tears. But Byunghee only cups his cheek and whispers softly and huskily, voice only a bit scratchy "I, I love you too Seungho". And it is then, that Seungho's heart bursts in joy, as he claims Byunghee's lips hardly, and more passionately.
He then, decides to bite Byunghee's ear, enjoying how the auburn-haired man shivered in delight, and leaves a hickey near Byunghee's neck, marking the other for himself and no one else.

It's almost comical that when they wake up a few hours later, that Seungho is sick too. Byunghee doesn't console the older, and only giggles before replying seriously "You deserve it, now stop hogging my blanket, and learn to share".
Seungho only grins, and decides to kiss Byunghee to try to convince the other, glad that his love was requited.
The End.
