Summary: It's been 4 years, and Junsu still can't get over the loss of them, he knows its stupid to hold on, but he's scared to let go. He doesn't want to forget the people who have shaped up his life. But its killing him every day, and Jaejoong worries, because Junsu can't move on, so Jaejoong decides to bring in Yoochun. But can Yoochun fix Junsu, or will Junsu fade away before that can happen?
'Just another simply-ruined Sunday morning' thought Junsu silently about the rainy weather, and lets out a deep frustrated sigh. He hated rainy days, and rainy Sundays even more. They always brought him sad memories and muddy shoes. He hated the muddy shoes fact even more seriously, since mud was very hard to get rid of, especially off brand-new white leather boots given to him as a gift from Hyukjae.
It's been 4 years since the accident, and ever since he lost them, life has been much, much harder. He still feels lost some of those days, especially during the 7 month around mid-summer's eve. It makes him feel so lonely. And yes, having Jaejoong and Hyukjae pamper him wasn't that bad, but he still felt empty somewhat.
It was as if some part of him was ripped open so hard that the wound is still trying to heal, but it can't. Almost heart-wrenching to be honest. But what to do, what's done is done, and not even Junsu can figure out what to do, so he can mend that whole. He pulls off his pajama pants and turns on the water tap, and sighs as he gazes at his clothes all over the apartment, and thinks with a strained smile 'I better clean this up before Jaejoong tries to maim me'.
2 hours later….
Junsu has already fixed up most of the apartment, except for Jaejoong's room, -since he's not allowed to enter if Jaejoong isn't there- and the Kitchen -since Jaejoong doesn't allow Junsu in there without supervision-. Junsu decided to change his clothes, since he was supposed to be meeting Hyukjae later on that day.
He had already removed his shirt when Jaejoong decided to open the door, and enter with a guest. Jaejoong takes one look at him and smiles wryly before asking "bad timing?" Junsu glares at Jaejoong, while his cheeks begin to turn into a shade of rosy red, as he uses his red shirt to cover up most of his chest. He squeaks out softly to Jaejoong's friend who has an amused smile on his face "Can you please look away?" he doesn't ask Jaejoong because he doesn't mind Jaejoong looking, and he doesn't think he ever will.
-Jaejoong and Junsu, have an interesting past. Jaejoong was Changmin's brother, Changmin was Junsu's boyfriend, Jaejoong was, and still is Junsu's best friend; Jaejoong dated Yunho, and Yunho was Junsu's cousin, and was best friends with Jaejoong and Junsu's as well. Yunho and Changmin died, along with Junsu's twin brother Junho, on a car accident that happen 4 years ago on July 11, on a rainy Sunday morning. Jaejoong & Changmin were orphans who lived with a foster family, until they moved out when Changmin turned 17 and Jaejoong was already 19. Junsu & Junho had been orphans who lived with a distant Aunt of theirs before she passed away when Junho & Junsu were 17, and have lived alone since then.
Jaejoong and Junsu shared history together, and were each others first kiss, before Junsu decided to date Changmin & Jaejoong decided to date Yunho. Jaejoong and Junsu dated for a year after the car accident, before Jaejoong broke it off, saying that he would rather stay friends with Junsu than be his boyfriend, than watch him wither every day. Jaejoong was Junsu's first crush, while Changmin was his first love.
Yunho was Changmin's first crush, and Jaejoong was Yunho's first kiss, but Jaejoong's first love was Junsu, though he loved Yunho more than he could ever love Junsu romantically, Junsu had held a special place in his heart, and it would seem like Junsu had always held a special place in Jaejoong's heart. Yunho had a crush on Junsu, before he fell in love with Jaejoong.
If one was being honest, their relationship was complicated to explain but easy to understand, because they had lived the phases of life without even needing to include other people in their drama. And that's all they ever needed, no matter how complicated it seemed to an outsider.
They all had this weird Love square each other, and somehow they didn't mind if it was only the 4 of them together, and forever. Hyukjae was Junsu's childhood friend who moved away, and came back when Junsu had begun dating Changmin, confessed a year later to having always loved Junsu, but realized that Junsu would never be his, and moved on to Jaejoong, but still had lingering feelings. Jaejoong would die for Junsu, and vice versa, while Changmin and Yunho would also die for Junsu, Junsu would do the same. Jaejoong wouldn't die for anyone but Junsu & Changmin, because no one other than Junsu has ever reached close into his heart, and because Changmin was his only family.
Two years after the accident, Hyukjae confessed to Jaejoong, and the other accepted after many repeated confessions, and a series of never-ending gifts; and now they've been dating steadily for 2 years, with some problems, but other than that, Hyukjae has wormed himself into Jaejoong's heart, and has helped Jaejoong move on, if only they could do the same with Junsu. Junsu still hasn't moved on, and Jaejoong has finally planned something to help Junsu get rid of his depression. Jaejoong brought in Yoochun.-
Jaejoong moves in closer, and hugs Junsu's tiny waist from behind, avoids Yoochun's inquiring eyes, and mouths to the other "look away", and Jaejoong lets out a relieved sigh, when he realizes that Yoochun does look away, but not without a reluctant look on his face. Jaejoong traces the scar on Junsu's chest, and presses soft kisses on the younger man's neck. He soothes Junsu, and tells him "It's okay, Junsu, he's just a good friend of mine" as he takes Junsu's shirt from Junsu's tight grip, and leads the younger into his room. He sighs softly, as a bitter thought runs across his mind 'So, he still can't handle anyone seeing that scar. As long as he got over the first scar, then I don't mind him being ashamed about this one.' Jaejoong closes the door before placing his lips over Junsu's lips as he wonders sadly 'Oh Junsu, my sweet Junsu, when will you, ever move on?'
As the kiss deepens, Junsu chokes back on a sob that he releases once Jaejoong runs his fingers through Junsu's hair -he understands that Jaejoong understands, and that the older had realized that he remembers, and that he can't help but remember- as the tears run across Junsu's still-rosy cheeks, Jaejoong deepens the kiss to try and erase Junsu's scars, and Jaejoong's worries that he can not, because Junsu doesn't stop crying....but what scares Jaejoong even more, is that someday Junsu never will.
